Mais uma vez, tivemos a hora de conseguir uma entrevista exclusiva! Dessa vez, foi com o diretor de Gimme Shelter, Ronald Krauss. Temos muitas informações quentinhas para todos vocês e ainda conseguimos esclarecer vários pontos do filme, especialmente para os fãs! Confira a entrevista abaixo:
Os fãs estão perguntando muito por essa: quando o primeiro trailer de “Gimme Shelter” vai sair?
O primeiro trailer irá sair no final do verão (seria inverno aqui no Brasil). No final de Agosto.O filme será exibido em algum festival em breve?
Estamos em negociações com dois festivais para o fim de Outubro e Novembro.Nos conte sobre a escolha do elenco, como foi? Você tinha alguma especificação para os atores?
Quando escolhemos o elenco, a decisão final para escolha da Apple veio das garotas reais que vivem no abrigo. Elas escolheram Vanessa sem nem saber quem ela era.Você foi a pessoa que cortou o cabelo de Vanessa. Quando vocês decidiram cortar? A ideia partiu de você ou dela?
Eu cortei o cabelo dela e então ela resolveu cortar, ela mesma, mais um pouco. A ideia foi uma criação minha para a personagem e sempre esteve no script. Eu disse a Vanessa no nosso primeiro encontro que iria cortar seu cabelo. Ela estava pronta para a mudança.Como você pode descrever Vanessa como uma atriz depois das gravações de “Gimme Shelter”?
Vanessa é uma atriz muito talentosa. Uma pessoa muito criativa. Ela tem habilidades reais e as pessoas irão começar a levá-la a sério com esse filme.Você acha que ela foi a Apple perfeita? Você ficou surpreso por suas habilidades?
Ela fez um trabalho incrível. Nós não poderíamos ter conseguido melhor, e fizemos audições com todas as atrizes jovens de Hollywood e ela ganhou o papel de todas elas.“Gimme Shelter” vai ter premiere em outros países (como o Brasil)?
Sim, “Gimme Shelter” será exibido em outros países, com certeza.Todos nós sabemos que Vanessa passou um tempo num abrigo com outras jovens grávidas. Como ela descreveu essa experiência para você?
Ela viveu num abrigo para jovens por 3 semanas com garotas reais. Foi muito emocional para ela. A ajudou com a transformação para a personagem.Como você pode descrever “Gimme Shelter”? O que você sentiu quando assistiu o filme todo pela primeira vez?
“Gimme Shelter” é um filme incrivelmente tocante e realista, diferente de qualquer outro que você já viu. Nós fizemos algumas exibições de teste e a plateia teve uma ótima resposta ao filme, principalmente às performances de Vanessa e Rosario Dawson, que interpreta a mãe de Apple.Você poderia mandar uma mensagem para todos os fãs que estão ansiosos para assistir o filme?
Tudo o que eu posso dizer para os fãs de Vanessa é que esse filme valerá a espera. Que fazer filmes maravilhosos demora. Esse é o filme de Vanessa que vocês sempre quiseram e merecem.

The fans are really asking for this one: when the first “Gimme Shelter” trailer comes out?
The first trailer will be out by end of summer. Late August.Will the movie appear at some festvial soon?
We are in talks with two festivals for late October and November.Tell us about choosing the cast, how it was? Did you have any specification to the actors?
When we choose the cast, the final decision for Apple came down to the real girls at the shelter. They picked Vanessa and they did not know who she was.You were the one who cutted Vanessa’s hair. When did you decide to do that? The idea came from you or Vanessa?
I cut her hair and then Vanessa cut some too. The idea was my creation for the character and was always in the script. I told Vanessa when we first met that I would be cutting her hair off . She was ready for the change.How can you describe Vanessa as a actress after shooting “Gimme Shelter”?
Vanessa is a very talented actress. A very creative person. She has real abilities and people are going to start taking her seriously with this film. I think they already have been.Do you think she was the perfect Apple for you? Did you get surprise by her acting skills?
She did an incredible job. We could of not gotten better and we auditioned every young actress in Hollywood and she won the part over all.Will “Gimme Shelter” have a premiere in other countries (like Brazil)?
Yes, Gimme Shelter will be playing in other countries for sure.We all know Vanessa spent a few time in a shelter with other young pregnant girls. How did she describe to you here experience there?
She lived in a teenage shelter for 3 weeks with the real girls. It was very emotional for her. It helped her with her transformation for the character.How can you describe “Gimme Shelter”? What did you feel when you saw the entire movie for the first time?
Gimme Shelter is an incredibly moving and realistic picture unlike any I have seen before. We had a few test screenings here and audiences have felt great about the film and especially the performances by Vanessa and Rosario Dawson who plays her mother.Can you send a message to all the fans who are looking foward to watch the movie?
All I can say is that to the fans of Vanessa is that this will be well worth the wait. That making great films takes time. This is the Vanessa film you have all been wanting and deserve.
